About In Bloom Therapy

Grief-informed, trauma-aware therapy for adults experiencing loss and significant life shifts

Hi there— I’m Lauren, licensed marriage and family therapist. I’m passionate about partnering with folks who have experienced abuse or trauma of any type in reclaiming their lives from the painful impacts of these experiences. I’m direct, sensitive, empathetic, intuitive, and creative. I do not shy away from your painful emotions or most difficult stories — I extend a full heart, compassionate listening, and thoughtful observations.

I have a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University and am licensed in the state of Colorado. My clinical work centers women’s mental health, with a focus on grief, loss, identity shifts, chronic health conditions, sexual abuse history, and the emotional impact of major life transitions. I pursue ongoing training in feminist therapy, internal family systems, and strength-based approaches, and my work is grounded in LGBTQ+ affirming, trauma‑informed, and inclusive practices.

Outside of sessions, you can usually find me reading, watching sci‑fi, obsessing over my dogs, being outdoors, or trying (and… often failing!) to beat my friends at NYT word games.

Hi!

Supporting women and gender expansive individuals slow down, explore, and grow.

My practice focuses on women’s mental health, grief, and the emotional impact of major life transitions. I work with women and gender‑expansive adults who are navigating loss, identity shifts, anxiety, and the lingering effects of difficult past experiences. My approach is depth‑oriented, relational, and grounded in evidence‑informed care.

I strive to make therapy as accessible and straightforward as possible — from scheduling to insurance — so you can focus on your healing. With more than a decade of experience in support roles and over six years as a clinician, I bring a steady, thoughtful presence to this work. Since 2020, my woman‑owned virtual practice has supported clients across Colorado in moving through grief and reconnecting with themselves.
