How Insurance Reimbursement Works:
Verify Benefits
Look at your insurance plan to see whether it includes out‑of‑network coverage for mental health services. This section will outline your deductible, the percentage your plan reimburses once that deductible is met, and the “allowed amount” they use to calculate reimbursement for therapy sessions. This information helps you understand what you can expect to receive back.
Pay + Receive Superbill
You pay my full fee at the time of the session. At the end of each month, I give you a superbill — a special receipt with all the information your insurance needs.
You simply upload it to your insurance portal.
Receive Reimbursement
Once your deductible is met, your insurance sends you a partial refund for each session — usually $60–$120 per session, depending on your plan.
The money goes straight to you.
